I think Juneteenth is a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the profound significance of this day in American history. Juneteenth, observed on June 19, marks the anniversary of the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, a pivotal moment in the long journey toward justice and equality. 

It is a celebration not only of freedom but of the resilience, courage, and dignity of those who endured unimaginable hardship and paved the way for a more just society.

Juneteenth is more than a historical milestone; it is a living reminder of the importance of Unity and the ongoing work required to continue building a world where everyone is valued and respected. The legacy of slavery and the injustices that followed remind us that prejudice, anger, and disconnection have deep roots in our past. Yet, they also highlight the urgent need for healing, understanding, and collective action we must have today.
